Vineyards: La Serrera. Sierras de Lunlunta.
Training system: high vertical shoot positioning.
Soil: highly rocky soil.
Picking (harvesting): manual picking, with boxes of 18 Kg.

We make a selection of grape clusters. The wine has a pre-fermentation maceration, an alcoholic fermentation at low temperature and a malolactic fermentation in oak casks. 100% of the wine is first aged in new oak casks for 12 months, and then in bottles for 12 months.

The Serrera Gran Guarda is an elegant, concentrated and powerful wine of a deep violet-ruby color. It is the result of grapes that come from one of the most exclusive terroirs in Mendoza –Lulunta- with an extraordinary vinification concept. It is a wine of excellent qualities and great personality
